Our overall aim of this event is to get as many young people enjoying our amazing sport countrywide on the same day – Thursday, July 31st 2025! Anyone can enter that fits into the age categories, U14s and U20s on the day of the event. There will also be two abilities in the way of ‘beginner’ and ‘advanced’. The ‘beginner’ category is for anglers who have little or no fishing experience, and need help to setup and fish a match. The ‘advanced’ category is for anglers that can fish a match on their own without any assistance. The most important part of our Guru Celebration is that fact we have young anglers fishing all over the country, with these events taking place at Aston Park Fishery and Kiveton Waters (South Yorkshire), Partridge Lakes (Cheshire), Makins Fishery (Warwickshire) and Alders Farm Fishery (Milton Keynes). The event will be covered across the Tackle Guru social media pages, with each venue having some of our expert Guru Anglers on hand to help run the event, do some media at the venues, and give the young anglers plenty of advice and tips.
You will need to bring all your own tackle and bait as this event is a fishing match.
